Before your time “but relevant just the same” Dedication to my friend & mentor Whatever your opinion of Jerry Blavat he is a remarkable inspiration to anyone in the music business. I have had the unique pleasure of knowing him since I was 14 years old when I started going to dances at Chez-Vous, yes I was a Yon Teenager. He also introduced me to the recording industry by allowing a bunch of us kids help him on his 1965 releases Discophonic Walk - Discophonic Walk (1965) recorded at Cameo/Parkway, after that I was hooked on the record business. Although I have taken a different path then good old rock and roll I still remember the long hours sitting in his garage studio off of City Line Ave. and listening to the best Do Wop and R&B music ever recorded. Thanks’ Jerry for a lifetime of music. Look him up http://www.myspace.com/jerryblavat
